Heritage shines at 2017 Think Business Awards

It was a night of glitz and glamour as Heritage Insurance scooped top awards at the Think Business Insurance awards 2017, Kenya's biggest night in the insurance calendar, underpinning the company's strong influence in the insurance sector in the country.

The awards which were held at the magnificent Radisson Blue in Upper hill, brought together over 30 insurance companies in Kenya, in which Heritage scooped 3 awards out of a possible six entries that the company submitted.

It was all pomp and joy as Heritage shone at the industry's most anticipated event after scooping top position in the Best Company in Sustainable CSR, ultimately going one step forward from last year's awards. The award follows a robust Corporate Social Responsibility programme which has seen the company roll out life changing initiatives in the region.

Other coveted awards were 1st Runner’s Up – Medical Insurer of the Year (Group) and 1st Runner’s UP – General Insurer of the Year.

Speaking following the outstanding recognition, Heritage Insurance Managing Director Godfrey Kioi observed that the awards validates the company's focus on excellent service and being socially active in the areas the company operates in.
 

"These awards aptly capture the ultimate attitude of all staff at Heritage, putting the client first while by giving first class service and support while minding the welfare of those in the society we work in", said Kioi.


This year's annual celebration ran on the theme; Rethinking what the customer wants, and were organized and hosted by Think Business Limited, a strategic research and publishing company specializing in the financial sector. The awards objective is to encourage innovation, prudence and stability in the sector by recognizing, outstanding individuals and organizations in the sector. A panel of expert judges drawn from various disciplines oversaw the awarding as per set criteria.
