CfC Insurance Holdings (CfCIH) is the listed holding company for CfC Life Assurance Ltd and The Heritage Insurance Company Ltd
in Kenya.
Liberty Holdings is the strategic investor in CfC Insurance Holdings and a group associate of Stanbic Investment
Management Services EA Ltd (“SIMS”).
The insurance businesses in Uganda, Liberty Life Assurance, and in Tanzania, Heritage, Alliance and Strategis also form part of the Group. Liberty is in turn majority owned by the Standard Bank Group, the largest financial services group in Africa.
The recent establishment of this holdings structure was to facilitate a more focused approach to the management of the ‘wealth’
activities of the group and the primary drive is to create specialised business units of Life & Pensions, Short Term, Health and
Asset Management.
By doing so, we have created an insurance and investment powerhouse that will propel CfC Life, Heritage and SIMS (E.A) into a new era.
The establishment of CfCIH also brings with it other compelling benefits for Kenya and the East African region as it provides value addition for clients through cross selling opportunities from within the Group and efficiencies through synergy.
