Social Responsibility
Kenyans for Kenya

» Thanks to your amazing support and contributions, today our Group donated Kshs. 1,100,000 to The Kenya Red Cross to feed school children in East Pokot and Kwale.
» The money will be utilised to buy Unimix which will be distributed to selected schools in the areas. The consignment will ensure that pupils access highly nutritious meals at least once a day over the next four months.
» The donation will also help KRCS supply safe clean water to the institutions. The intervention aims to maintain enrolment levels in affected schools after registering a sharp decline due to prolonged drought. » Our Group’s engagement in social involvement is focused on education as it is key to Kenyans becoming self-sufficient enough to play a more constructive role in unlocking the country’s socio-economic potential. This donation will assist KRCS feed the children that have been effected by the recent drought.
» The school feeding programme is implemented by KRCS under the Drought Response Initiative launched on 14th January 2011, whose long-term strategy is building communities’ resilience to future disasters.
